Partner Meetings

Florence 5th - 6th February 2004

The Kick-off meeting took place in Florence on the 5th and 6th of February, 2004. Elisabetta Delle Donne, the project's coordinator, presented the partners with a detailed description of the project and the activities that would be carried out. The meeting was also an opportunity for the partners to get to know each other and to discuss all details related to the project's activities. At the end of the meeting all the partners had a clear view of the future project's implementation.


  

Lueneburg, 10th – 12th June, 2004

The second partners’ meeting for the ArtNet project took place in Lüneberg, Germany from the 10th – 12th June, 2004. During the meeting the project activities carried out by all the partners so far were discussed as well as the planning of future project activities. The meeting also included practical workshop sections on using the project portal and on the creation of elearning courses


  

Krems, 29th November - 1st December 2004

The third partners’ meeting for the ArtNet project took place in Krems, Austria from the 29th November – 1st December 2004. Both the project partners and a number of teachers involved in the ArtNet project attended. During the meeting, the elearning courses developed by the teachers were presented and discussed by all those present, as were the elearning evaluation forms that they had completed. The activities for the second year of the ArtNet project were also discussed and a practical workshop took place focusing on tools and software for carrying out the virtual meetings which will take place during the second year. The aim of these meetings is to promote communication and cooperation between the teachers participating in the ArtNet project and to give them the opportunity to discuss the elearning courses with teaching colleagues from all over Europe.


  

Florence, ArtNet Final Conference, 15th December, 2005

The ArtNet Final Conference took place at the Istituto Statale d'Arte di Porta Romana in Florence on the 15th December, 2005. The conference was attended by around 80 individuals including the project partners, teachers of the schools involved in the project activities in the partner countries, the winners of the Lov'Art competition as well as representatives from Italian public authorities and teachers from art schools throughout Italy.


  

Florence, 16th December, 2005

The 4th and final partners' meeting took place in Florence on the 16th December, 2005. The project partners presented the activities that they had carried out over the past year and discussed the future of the ArtNet project activities.

  

Teachers Meetings

Lueneburg, 19th February, 2004

The aim of this meeting was to present the ArtNet project to the teachers of the German schools involved in the project and to set out the project’s aims, objectives and activities. At the end of the meeting all teachers were clear on the activities to be carried out in the framework of the ArtNet project.


  

Florence 25th February 2004

The first Florence Teachers' meeting had the aim to present the project's objectives and expected outcomes to the teachers of the Italian schools involved in the Art-Net project. By the end of the meeting the teachers had a clear view of the project activities and their commitment for the project.


  

Lueneburg, 4th March 2004

The participants of this meeting include Christa Elster, the co-ordinator, three "old teachers“ who were also involved in the former MultimediArt-Project (Bettina Cramm, Renate Schmidt, Joerg Schueler), two new teachers (Jutta Malone, Thomas Lamla) and Karen Gehrke as second co-ordinator. Renate and Christa presented and promoted the project and explained the work which needs to be done. All the important information was sent via e-mail to the teachers, including a German translation of the form “ArtNet ELearning Experiences.”


  

Liège 10th March 2004

A coordination meeting was held with the teachers from the Belgian schools involved in the ArtNet project. The Belgian partners INFOREF presented the ArtNet project to the teachers and outlined the various project tasks and activities.


  

Lueneburg, 22nd March, 2004

During this meeting the specific project activities were discussed in detail in order to monitor the schools’ progress. Action plans were also made during the meeting for the ArtNet project activities.


  

Nottingham, 25th March, 2004

The first UK teachers’ meeting for the ArtNet project was attended by 7 teachers. A detailed presentation of the ArtNet project’s objectives and activities were given and informative material about the project was also distributed.


  

Florence 19th April 2004

The first Florence Teachers' workshop had the aim to present the structure of the ArtNet portal, defining the role of the teachers as far as their contribution of material to it is concerned.


  

Lueneburg, 22nd April 2004

During this meeting, the German teachers and Christa Elster the coordinator talked about the essential changes of the school system in Lower Saxony. How to fill in the information forms about the participating schools was also discussed and so were the e-learning resource evaluation forms and the e-learning experience forms. The 2nd partner meeting in Lueneburg was also discussed by all those present.


  

Lueneburg, 11th May 2004

During this meeting, the completed eLearning resource and eLearning evaluation forms were completed. The teachers also worked through the Lov’Art starter sheet and enrolment form and discussed the agenda and organization of the 2nd partners meeting.


  

Florence 27th May 2004

The aim of the second Florence Teachers' workshop was to show the new developments of the project portal to the teachers, carrying out practical sessions on how to to insert information directly onto the portal and on the development of elearning courses.


  

Patras, 4th June, 2004

During the first Greek teachers’ meeting, a detailed presentation of the ArtNet project’s aims and activities was given. Informative material was also distributed to all partners and at the end of the meeting the Greek teachers were clear on the activities to be carried out in the framework of the project.


  

Lueneburg, 7th June 2004

During this meeting the German teachers and Christa Elster, the coordinator, discussed the organization of the 2nd partners meeting including the planning of the welcome buffet, the meeting agenda and the teachers' participation.


  

Patras, 30th June 2004

On the 30th June 2004, the Greek teachers met up with the Greek national coorindator for the ArtNet project to discuss the project activities such as the evaluation of eLearning resources and experiences and to plan their eLearning courses.


  

Lueneburg, 12th July 2004

The third German teachers' workshop took place at the Lessing Gymnasium school in Uelzen on the 12th July 2004. The particpants discussed the progress of the ArtNet project activities since the 2nd partners' meeting and carried out practical sessions on the ArtNet portal.


  

Lueneburg, 24th August 2004

The aim of this meeting was to monitoring the development of elearning courses. The teachers presented their courses (some finished and some "work in progress") and the courses were discussed.

  

Hurtigruten and Kabelvag, 28th - 29th September 2004

The second workshop for the Norwegian Teachers involved in the ArtNet project took place during a sea journey to Hurtigruten and Kabelvag on the 28th and 29th of September 2004. The teachers were reminded of the project's aims and objectives and also illustrated the activities they had carried out so far. A practical session on evaluating eLearning resources also took place.


  

Patras, 1st October, 2004

The 3rd workshop for the Greek teachers took place in Patras on the 1st October, 2004. The teachers discussed their progress concerning the project activities, presenting their work so far. A practical computer session was also carried out on software and techniques for eLearning course development.


  

Florence 12th October 2004

The third workshop for the Italian teachers involved in the ArtNet project took place in Florence on Tuesday 12th October 2004. The teachers demonstrated their e-learning courses "in progress" and Antonio Cioffi illustrated the course developed by Brera University of Fine Arts. The teachers also carried out a practical session on the tools and softwares to be used when creating e-learning courses.


  

Liège, 27th October 2004

The 2nd Belgian teachers' meeting took place in Liège on October 27th 2004. During the meeting the teachers and Belgian coordinator discussed the eLearning evaluation resource and experience forms and also explored the various sections of the ArtNet portal.


  

Florence, 23rd November 2004

The 4th Italian Teachers' Workshop took place in Florence on the 23rd November, 2004. Each teacher involved in the ArtNet project presented their e-learning course "in progress" and Antonio Cioffi from Brera University of Fine Arts provided comments and feedback. Teachers commented that this was a very good session as it allowed them to see the courses created by their colleagues and the themes and methodologies that each person has chosen to develop. A practical session on developing further the "work in progress" was also carried out.


  

Patras, 1st December 2004

The 4th workshop for the Greek teachers took place on the 1st of December, 2004. During the workshop the eLearning course developed by Prof. Cioffi was presented as were the comments received on the indexes and structure of the courses planned by the teachers.

The workshop also foresaw the 3rd course on Macromedia Authorware and a general discussion on the general guidelines for the use of photos and text included in the eLearnng courses.


  

Krems, 4th December, 2004

Christian Gmeiner from Pädagogische Akademie der Diözese St. Pölten in Krems organised a meeting with the Austrian teachers involved in the ArtNet project to discuss the project activities and in particular the elearning courses being developed.


  

Liège, 9th December 2004

The 3rd meeting between the Belgian teachers and the national coordinator took place on the 9th December 2004. During the meeting a Videoconference with Toot Hill School (UK) took place which provided an opportunity for the teachers and students of the two partner countries to communicate for the first time.


  

Florence, 16th February, 2005

The objective of the workshop was for the Italian teachers to present their elearning courses and to see the work of their European colleagues from the other partner countries.

During the workshop, each teacher presented their elearning course and commented on the courses created by their teaching colleagues from the other partner countries.


  

Patras, 29th March 2005

The 5th Greek teachers' workshop took place in Patras on the 29th March, 2005. During the workshop the activities to be carried out during the second year of the ArtNet project were presented. The Greek teachers presented their finished training courses and also discussed the courses of their European teaching colleagues that have already been uploaded on the ArtNet portal.


  

Florence, 28th June 2005

The objective of the workshop was for the Italian teachers to meet to discuss the “Moving Images Workshop” created by the Greek teacher, Vicky Betsou from Athens School of Fine Arts with their teaching colleagues in the other partner countries.

During the workshop, the Italian teachers met “virtually” with teachers from Germany and Greece to discuss the the. The workshop provided an opportunity for dialogue and communication between the teachers participating in the ArtNet project.
